If you like hiking in the mountains, this is the place for you.
There are a multitude of peaks ready to be climbed. You can choose according to the level of difficulty, and there are many exciting tours ranging from summit tours, climbing tours or tours in one of the valleys.

Fishing

Hustadnes Fjordhytter is located by the fjord and it's worth trying your luck at fishing.
From the piers you can fish for saithe, pollack, mackerel, etc. Both sea eels and salmon have been caught from the piers. If you want, you can rent a boat and fish on the fjord or you can fish for salmon in the Bondalselva river.

The salmon river Bondalselva is located 1.3 km from Hustadneset. There is a lot of salmon and trout fishing here.

Fishing licenses can be purchased in Sæbø.

Boat trip on the fjord

A boat trip on the fjord on a fine evening is highly recommended!
There you can enjoy the view of all the mountain peaks in the Hjørundfjord.

Ørsta Ski Center

Ørsta Ski Center is 15 minutes from Hustadnes Fjordhytter.

Hunting

For those interested in hunting, it is possible to buy deer in the local area for hunting during the hunting season. The hunting period is from September 01 to December 23.
